Kevin Moody Named Associate Dean for Human Resources

Kevin B. Moody has been appointed Associate Dean for Human Resources at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

Moody, a human resources executive with two decades of leadership and change management experience, will provide strategic leadership and direction of our human resources functions across the School of Medicine, helping build its workforce capabilities and meet the increasing challenges of recruiting and retaining excellent staff in support of the School of Medicine’s important missions of research, education, and patient care.

Moody’s expansive professional experience includes tenures at prominent academic institutions, including Harvard and Emory, where he successfully developed and deployed key human resources initiatives. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Dean and Chief Human Resources Officer at Harvard Law School.

Prior to dedicating his career focus on human resources in academic institutions, Moody served as a Captain and Air Traffic Control Operations Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps until his end of active duty in 2001.

Moody received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
