Department clinical and research expertise showcased at AATS 103rd Annual Meeting

The Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery showcased its clinical and research expertise at the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) 103rd Annual Meeting at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, Calif., May 6 - 9, 2023.
Over four days, this meeting brought together surgeons in-person to learn about the latest advances in clinical care across the fields of adult cardiac, general thoracic, congenital, and transplant surgery. With a record number of abstracts submitted this year, including several abstract submissions from the department, participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions, hear new perspectives, and build on each other’s work.
