Caring for Children
Our clinician teams treat patients at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, ranked as one of the country’s best by U.S. News and World Report. Located on the campus of Stanford University, the hospital is home to the state-of-the-art Bass Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases where we provide our clinical services.
With a fully integrated inpatient/outpatient environment and world-class faculty, fellows, and staff, the Bass Center provides an ideal environment for delivering the best possible care for children, adolescents, and young adults with blood diseases and cancer. Our comprehensive center offers a wide range of services to our patients and coordinates care within one physical location. Each patient is cared for by a nurse coordinator and social worker, who partner with the medical team. Specialists in anesthesia, pain management, nutrition, psychological treatment, rehabilitation, child life, genetic counseling, and fertility all work to support our patients’ health. We provide world class offerings to our patients including clinical trials led by Stanford faculty, immunotherapy, gene therapy and stem cell transplantation
