When will I hear back about my application?

Can I really apply from anywhere? What time of day will programming be held?
Yes. In class sessions during the 2 week intensive will be 9 am to 5 pm PST
How will mentorship be assigned? Do I get to choose who I work with?
Mentorship will be assigned in conversation with each student. We do our best to match interest and projects.
Can I do some portion of the program? Is there a minimum attendance policy?
There is no minimum attendance policy.
I'm a senior in High School, can I apply?
No.
I'm not in school, can I apply?
If you are on leave from undergraduate or graduate education and plan to return, yes.
I'm an international student, can I apply?
Yes.
Do you offer scholarships?
Yes. We have a limited number of need-based scholarships available. To apply for a scholarship, please email medicineandthemuse at stanford.edu and request an application. We will never ask to verify income, but applicants should qualify for Federal Work Study.
My primary language isn't English. What other languages are supported?/ Can my final project be in a language other than English?
Currently this is an English-based program. In the future we may be able to offer teaching and project support or review in other languages.
Who should my letter of recommendation come from?
A teacher, coach, advisor or mentor.
Can I borrow equipment from Stanford University?
No.
