Clair Kuriakose promoted to inaugural chief advanced practice officer

Clair Kuriakose, PA-C, has been promoted to chief advanced practice officer at Stanford Health Care. In this role, a first for the organization, she will oversee advanced practice providers, which includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists and certified registered nurse anesthetists.

Kuriakose has been with Stanford Health Care for nine years, most recently as executive director of advanced practice, directing efforts to decrease staff burnout and improve patient access and operational efficiency. She is also a clinical assistant professor in the School of Medicine.

“Over the past decade, I’ve passionately championed APPs as critical members of the care team, driving visibility to their amazing contributions to patient care,” Kuriakose said. “This inaugural role speaks to the tremendous contributions of Stanford Health Care’s 800-plus APPs and their strategic importance in the evolving health care landscape.”
