We are excited to announce the launch of our new program, the Stanford Clinical Skills Internship - CSI's Fall Intensive. This immersive and interactive course is specifically designed to equip motivated, curious, and empathetic pre-medical and high school students with the practical skills that are fundamental in the medical school curriculum.

Over the course of 10 weeks, our program provides students with a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide range of topics crucial for success in the medical field. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to take histories from patients, perform physical exams, create a differential diagnosis, and think critically to diagnose and treat complex medical cases. Our sessions include an introductory course and history taking and clinical case practice, vital signs and physical exam lectures, cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, and pulmonary case presentations, a day in the life of an internal medicine physician, and many more.

In addition to the individualized learning experience, our program also offers group activities designed to simulate the collaborative problem solving required in the medical field. These group activities will provide a challenging and rewarding experience for our students, preparing them for the realities of medical practice.

Throughout the program, students will receive direct mentorship from Stanford School of Medicine faculty, who will guide them through the curriculum and provide expert insights into the medical profession. With a class size limited to 24 students (age 16+), our program ensures a highly individualized learning experience. The sessions are delivered in an online format via Zoom, allowing students to participate from anywhere in the world.
