Are you an undergraduate stuent ready for a thrilling opportunity to be part of an innovative and hands-on medical program? Look no further! The Clinical Summer Internship (CSI) program is seeking a dynamic and motivated Program Manager Assistant to support our summer sessions.
Session 1: July 10-21, 2023
Session 2: July 24-Aug 4, 2023
The Program Manager Assistant supports the CSI Program Manager in day-to-day operations including, but not limited to:
- Assist with in-person sessions: set up for hands-on activities, answer student questions, assist with meal set up, escort students to and from sessions.
- Moderating Zoom sessions: monitor chat/questions, assist in breakout sessions, lead ice-breaker and social activities, tak photos/screen shots and videos of sessions
- Troubleshoot technical difficulties with students
- Communicat with lecturers and guest speakers in preparation for their presentations
- Post on CSI social media accounts
- Assist with wrap-up activities: creat the graduation slideshow, conduct end of session surveys, prepar graduation certificates, distribut speaker gifts.
Additionally, there may be odd jobs once we go live that we have no way of anticipating!
Qualifications
- Must be tech savvy with strong proficiency in Zoom and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). This role will require you to interact with students, partents, med/PA students, residents and faculty.
- Must be comfortable posting on Instagram and be able to create attention grabbing posts that promote our program and the Univeristy.
- Must be local to the Bay Area.
- High school seniors and undergraduate students are eligible to apply.
Applicants will be required to provide a resume and one letter of recommendation from either an academic or professional reference. Note: CSI alumni do NOT need to provide a reference.
Employment is contingent upon completion of a Livescan fingerprinting and background check if offered the position.

As a CSI Instructor, you'll play an integral role in the program, supporting the CSI Directors and affiliated faculty behind the scenes and live. You'll moderate lectures, help with hands-on activities like suturing and dissections, and assist with clinical simulations. Plus, you'll get to flex your teaching and presentation skills while addressing student questions.
